Dr. Worden is a board-certified general surgeon who specializes in minimally invasive bariatric and foregut surgery. Dr. Worden grew up in Northern Michigan on an island in Lake Huron. She moved to Ohio to complete her medical school studies at the University of Cincinnati and her surgical residency at TriHealth Cincinnati. She subsequently completed a fellowship in bariatrics at the University of Iowa. Her interests include the comprehensive treatment of obesity, robotic surgery and advances in surgical technology, endoluminal procedures for weight loss, biliary tract disease, anti-reflux surgery, and abdominal wall hernias. She finds it rewarding to improve the long-term health of her patients with chronic medical issues associated with obesity.
In her free time, Dr. Worden enjoys exploring Minneapolis and Minnesota with her husband and son, hanging out with her family and two dogs, photography, traveling, and is excited to get back into all of the outdoor activities living in the Upper Midwest offers.
